Aha! Faces to names...
Some kind but misguided soul sent me a vid of the last ABC event, so youngest sprog and I (after much cursing due to mutual inability to hook up video) sat down to watch it.
Well...so now I know what you all look like! Larf, or what (sorry folks, nothing to do with personal appearances - well, not much anyway)! Nobody ('cept Liana and Fishcake, 'cos I already knew what they looked like) looked anything like I'd imagined. The readers were brilliant, especially Liana, Barenib and Eddie (oh bugger, there WERE only 3 readers), but what I found remarkable was the difference it made listening to the poems (many of which I'd read here) as opposed to reading them on the screen. Eddie and Barenib's stuff cracked me up (I hope it was s'posed to!) and L was VERY...er...dramatic (loved the piercing, by the way).
Liana will no doubt be delighted to know that I'm on the way to becoming a convert. Well, a slight exaggeration, perhaps, but I WAS highly impressed.

Oooh, and thanks for saying 'hello' as well - I was dead chuffed and Sprog thought it was hilarious.
