I like my job!
...and in a few weeks am moving to one I think I am going to love. Only for a three month contract with possibility of renewing for 6 months when the centre in Weymouth re-opens.
...now I'm thinking about another possible opportunity ...within the Church which will be good experience for my future life as a sister ....maybe starting after I end my contractual obligations in Weymouth in October.
Funny...when you are prepared to put up with c**p (though easily enough to live on) money and have no aspirations for wealth - the path to career satisfaction becomes so much easier!
I am glad I don't have a family or a huge mortgage or anything that forces me to stay in the rat race!

That's fantabulous, jude! I wish I could say the same thing (but I said the opposite, didn't I?). Simplicity is truly best, and I think if one trusts the Big Guy Up There or whatever one wishes to call That Which Flows Within Us All, one really can simplify life to a point that it's actually enjoyable.
At least, I hope so, as that's what I'm trying to do. It's not about professional ambition or keeping up with the Joneses anymore; it's about trying to find a sane way to live life while paying the bills...
