Linsi

I really must say that Linsi has to definitely be one of the most skillful writers on this site. She writes as if she attends writing classes every Friday. Maybe she does, and if so there's a lesson for all of us.

Linsi's work is smothered with wonderful adjectives, and she has such wonderful depth of expression. (And would probably never use the word "wonderful" twice in the same sentence).

Where as I would say, "The sand felt wet as I walked on it," Linsi writes, "My feet melt into the damp sand." And then goes on to wonder if her, "chapped soles would meet the angry pinch of an outraged crab."

I'd be thinking, "I hope I don't get bit by a crab."

In the very next line, she goes on to write, "My hair is pulled and thrown with windblown demons."

A true talent. I am humbled.

She certainly does! Long term fan I am. I especially like 'Night Shift' (which describes exactly how I feel when I go to work each night) and 'Little bulimic piggy bank', a poem full of fantastic imagery and twisted imagination. Top class! Linsi has more talent than you can shake a stick at, so go investigate straight away!
