Slough Library is a 2-minute walk from Slough Train station and Bus station. Hope that some of you are close enough to make it. Kicks off at 7.15 with open Mic starting a little later. Free refreshments and a possibility of future bookings.
For further Information email or telephone slough Library on (01753 787501)
Rumor has it there may be a sitar and a banjo in the building. Depending on the length of the story it should be all right.. It's the first ever-open event that the Slough One World Festival has funded. If the turn out is poor it may be the last. This is genuinely an opportunity for new poets to get themselves their first professional booking. The Library closes at four on Saturday and stays closed until Tuesday Morning (Event Day). Any one interested please email me and I will provide any details you need.
Is this exclusively a poetry reading night or is there scope for storytelling as well?
