I have a big favour ask...

ABC Radio in Australia just called me and want to interview me about my World Cup travels in less than two hours!

I am going to hunt for a landline now, but need my mobile to be sure of the interview. I only have 50 pence worth of credit left on it and am being blocked from topping it up online. I do not know why.

Is there any kind soul out there in the UK who would be willing and able to duck out right now and buy a 10 pound vodaphone top up scratchcard right now and then email me the number at anthonyjucha@abctales.com?

If you send me your sort code and account number, I can transfer the money right back into your account.

After a month of flogging myself to death around Europe to try and make a name as a travel writer, it would be sad to let such an opportunity slip by. Can anyone save me?

If so, please post a reply right now as I need to get hunting for a landline...

Onya Henstoat! We were close hey! I managed to scrounge a landline of some kindly Germans in time. Just. The interview went well and I managed to give a BIG FAT PLUG for abctales.com. It was my second interview with the station and tomorrow there will be some pretty substantial articles published in newspapers in Oz about my adventures and abctales.com. Watch the Australian membership of the site surge! Also, listen for an interview with Steve Jones on LBC Radio at 9:15 am on Sunday. Here's hoping the server issues will be sorted soon so the site can make the most of the publicity...
