menatl health in northern ireland

wht is it like. Is it the same in Glasgow wher they harrass and eventually murder innocent people who are sick. theres a well publicised case of one of these going on and as it goes actually to me and it contiues. threats on my life tonight. They spread about rumours in Glasgoiw areas about people with mental health agendas turning the ignorant communitys on these people. Sometime sthe locla council plays a part. please help to stop it. please understand menatl health and tell the nothern part of britain and to stop saying these young men are in gangs and making stuff up about them and murdering them. Please stop the murder of the i ll or maybe god will help, i wish some one would. Stop the murder and genocide of people with mental health issues in Uk communitys. Sorry, thank you for giving me a voice.

I had two sessions with a shrink a few months ago. He made out he was going to listen attentively to me and then tailor his response to my needs. When I finished explaining the problems he simply served up a stock solution: you're depressed, you need anti-depressants. It was as if he hadn't heard a word I was saying. If my case is anything to go by these guys are quacks and alchemists poking around in the dark, claiming skills and capabilities they mostly do not have. Other medical specialisms may be all hi tech and 21st century, but shrinkery, as far as I am concerned, is still in the 19th century.

Standard clinical practice is to say nothing. For a doctor, the less they interact, the better. You'd be better off spending your money at the horse track.

Stephen. I recently lost a once valued and well paid job as a result of a mental health issue. This came after visiting a physciatrist for 18 months who was always more interested in chewing on snickers bars and telling me, after each bite had been swallowed, that I was getting better. I could have crawled into that consultation room on all fours, naked and drooling and he still would have greeted me with "well hello. You're looking perky." After each session I'd be prescribed a stronger pill and ordered not to work and told that before I knew it I'd be fighting fit again. At one point he suggested that I was indeed in touch with time travellers, lol. So I lose my job and get fucked around by the dss for a three weeks and build up 6 or 7 £35 bank charges for failed direct debit payments and then I get a note from the dss informing me that I'd be receiving £65 per week incapacity. OK, so that covers the bank charges for the month and then I've got to find the mortgage, food, elec, gas, car, insurances, loans, countil tax, kid, wife, etc, etc. Then just as I'm starting to worry, I get a letter from my mortgage provider telling me that I owe them £1500 in arrears for the reductions they made for me last year to be paid immediately by debit card or cheque or else face further proceedings. So I contact the dss about receiving help with the mortgage and I'm told that I earn too much. lol! So stop fucking harping on about scotland fucking this and scotland fucking that because it happens everywhere you annoying so and so. Deal with it. :) and whatever :)

But at least most people here now understand stephy and back off accordingly despite the temptation to rip into an easy target ... done it myself, although, in my defence I would say it was in an attempt to warn new users of the danger of interacting with him and to not believe the bullshit posts he makes. I did the same with you max/billy after you rounded on me (and others) for having a different opinion. You may have noticed that I have since backed off ... I am more understanding now. Maybe you should do the same with Stephy? Jasper ... now that's a headcase worthy of attacking if only for the way he chases female 'artistes' *pass me the sick bucket*

haha, I noticed that too. Jasper attempts at wooing. I mean no harm when I say what I do but to put it to stephen that it happens everywhere. Once you're non-productive you're neglected. It's up to me and me only to get on my feet in time and to get back out there and start bringing home the dough. There's only one person who can make that difference and make that change.

Is there anyone out there that just leads a normal every-day life not taking mind altering pharmasuticals or consuming quarts of vodka every day, that just wakes up and does their best to get through the day without run ins with the police or firing off rocket launchers or breaking out of prison? Huh? Is there? Is there anyone out there whos biggest worry is rather or not they have enough golf balls for the next round? Is there anyone out there that hasn't been beaten by a spouse or abused as a child, or raped and left along a road side to freeze? Is there anybody out there that hasn't burnt down entire city blocks with a stray match or caused entire theaters to be evacuated for an inadvertant bomb scare? Is there anybody out there that isn't on the no-fly list and couldn't possibly be a terrorist? Is there anybody out there that hasn't been fired from a job because they were no longer economically viable? Is there anybody out there that doesn't wear womens clothing and dance on rooftops singing movie musical themes? Is there anybody out there just plain normal?

The culture of victimhood is indeed widespread. That doesn't mean people don't have problems, sometimes quite serious problems. But the first step to improvement begins within oneself.

And in answer to your question, Radio: I doubt it.

Well, I still see them but I won't live with one again. My gain...lost everything else as a result of them.
