Ego Magazine looking for submissions

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in (and sorry if it isn't) but..a new magazine called Ego, which is based in Cairo, is looking for prose submissions.

Our creative writing section is lonely and is in need of contributors.

To give you a better idea of what the magazine is about: It's a monthly, and focuses on social, cultural and political issues. The most important thing we aim to do with the magazine is to make people think, see things from as many different angles as possible... We want to always have a slightly cynical edge to our commentary.. We really are hoping to offer people something that they can't find anywhere else.

We have the regular sections you'd find in any other magazine.. entertainment reviews, business, sports, fashion and whatnot.. But we are trying to be more creative with the rest of our sections. We have a section called Life Without where each month we look at what life would be like without any one given item. We also have a few interesting columns.. one is a column by an Afghan-American who will be spending the coming year in Kabul and he's basically writing about what life is like there post-Taliban. We also have a column on current events in the Middle East - with one half written by an American and the other by a Syrian living in America.

If you're interested or want to know more about the magazine.. send me a note through abctales.

Unfortunately as we are just starting out (our first issue came out this month), we aren't able to pay you actual money, but we can mail you a few copies of the magazine.

Submission guidelines:
