G - at Alfredos's by Jack Cade

Dug this up from 'random story' so I don't know how old this is and some of you some might be familiar with it already.
Anyone who can write a hairdresser's-based piece of prose and make it as interesting, funny and sharp as this must have something going for them. Scenes we surely all recognise given a new lease of life. The description of watching the reflections particularly resonated with me, well observed - something i do myself but had never actually thought about it.
I preferred the descriptions of the visits rather than those of the character actually working there, i didn't expect that, but thought this was excellent.
Not sure if this ever became part of a larger work, but it works just fine as it is.
