Hey 'talers! Me and Joe are going to be appearing with Ross Sutherland and Toby Litt as part of the London Word Festival this Sunday.

We're doing a lecture on... oh screw it, I'll let the blurb tell you:

'Joe Dunthorne, Tim Clare and Ross Sutherland explore the amazing literary universe of The Oulipo. Their performance-cum-lecture will introduce you to the likes of the univocalism - writing poetry using only one vowel. Joining The Oulipo Poets is celebrated novelist Toby Litt, reading from his latest novel I Play The Drums In A Band Called Okay.'

There's stuff about robots taking over the world and Jesus fits in somehow as well. It'd be great to see people from the site (plus friends!) - we'll be about before and afterwards for a drink and a chat if anyone fancies coming down... or does that sound a bit desperate?
