CALL FOR ARTICLES EDITOR FOR 2009 (MANCHESTER/LIVERPOOL/NW BASED)

Incorporating Writing (ISSN 1743-0380) is now in its 5th year and has become a respected magazine in the world of Literature. With the departure of Fiona Ferguson, we are looking to appoint a new editor, they must be:
a. Computer literate and have good command of spelling and grammar.
b. Able to edit copy and manage an articles team, making/terminating appointments when and where necessary.
c. A self starter, as all work is e-based home work.
d. Able to work within a team and arrange to meet online or via meetings when necessary.
e. A lover of literature and the arts.
f. Well organised and work to deadlines.
g. Able to come up with ideas for articles, when and where needed.
h. Able to write copy.
This is a voluntary position and amounts to 2-3 hours per week. Many past editors of the magazine have gone onto work in the media and publishing. With a readership of 25,000+ an issue and 4 issues a year, we are always looking for exciting voices and themes. 2009 themes include AGE and VIOLENCE. If you are interested in applying for the post, please submit an editorial of 500 words on either AGE or VIOLENCE by the 31st August, along with a CV, photo of yourself (in jpeg format) and a 30 word bio to Andrew Oldham at:
