No.. I can't do it anymore. I just can't sit here and watch as the whole world does thr wrong thing AGAIN. They're going to let those imposters play for OUR CUP!!!! This is England's cup and evryone knows it and a little detail like not winning a certain game shouldn't get in the way. The officials are obviously corrupt and to stop things right now and declare England the winners would put them back in the driving seat as the dealers of fairness. Nobody would mind at all, I even suspect the final will show a slightly depressed and guilty looking pair of teams that both know they have no right to be there except as worthy losing finallists to England. I'm off to have a word with Fifa and see if they won't come to their senses and stop all this unnecessary suffering.

Steve says Brazil 5 Germany 0 He's mad (too much php - see transient bugs thread) I say Brazil 2 Germany 1 (they get a late consolation goal) Martin Cook the Books (Accounts) says Brazil 2 Germany 0 Ian (who fixes the bugs on our network computers) says Brazil 6 Germany 0 mind you it's all Ballacks to him and he isn't even playing. He also tells me that the rest of the German side hates Ballack so much that when he scores none of the others congratulates him and he has to do his little victory dance on his own. Makes him a bit of a Janker if you ask me.

Germany always fluke it through. The gits! They get lots of easy sides. I half expected Turkey to beat Brazil by some fluke just so Germany can stroll in and take the World cup with the minimum effort. Damn those germanic ball kickers.

My brother is currently working in Hamburg. Have bought him a t shirt with the "Deutschland 1 England 5" Scoreboard on the front. Hope they don't sack him.

Hmm. Saudi Arabia, Cameroon, Ireland, Paraguay, USA, South Korea. Course, you can only beat what is put in front of you, but the only half-decent side in that bunch managed to draw with them. Today's consolation is that England beat the finalists 6-3 on aggregate in the last two competitive games we played against them (assuming Brazil beat Turkey - if Turkey win, our aggregate score is even more impressive)
