Manford Man
Blinded by the light, wrapped up like a "What"? Cannot figure it out. Driving me nuts.
Anyone?
Social discourse in action. Do try and keep up Jasper.
Now how would a social cripple do that?
Must be a Manfred Mann cover.
C'est au-delà sa compréhension, mais encore il est attiré.
Comme un papillon de nuit à la flamme.
Wrapped up like a deuce... hope that helps Lisa.
'Revved up', not 'wrapped up'
>>Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night <<
Oops
Yes! But what the hell dose it mean?
It means, get out of the 70's and start living a real life.
hahahahaha
I've always assumed it was reffering to a Deuce Coupe...
But of course I could be wrong
I heard an old song on the radio the other day, Ms. Grace. I always thought it went ooh ooh ooh ms. grace, sat on by the human race, but apparently it's "satin perfume and lace". Doesn't sound like it. Rubbish.
Reminds me of Robert's mishearing of Rhinestone Cowboy as Nine stone Cowboy.
My son always thought...Oh my darling Clementine was...Oh my darling lemon pie.
'Saviour of the human race,' isn't it?
God. Just had the theme song to Flash Gorden pop in to my head.
Amassing how this forum can mess with your head.
Amazing even!!!
I've been whistling the theme to Gilligan's Island for a week now. I guess Friday I can stop.
Amazing?
No. No Flashy..
To easy to confuse that with Amazon..
Its the Z part that gets me every time.
I found this web site with a whole page of misheard lyrics from Blinded by the Light
Here's a couple of examples...
"Grabbed up by douche, another robot in the night."
and...
"And little burly purly gave my anus-curl a whirly"
priceless
"Our Father,
who art in Heaven,
Harold be thy name."
lol
