Luis Elizondo (2024) Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs. Who are you?

Who are you?
What are you?
For a memoir a bit of backstory is needed. Try and fit ‘patriot’ into a single sentence in as many forms as you can manage.
It’s on the book cover. The man who resigned because of a government cover-up. A smearing campaign against a patriotic whistle blower.
I made notes and watched a documentary on Prime.
If the world has a cancerous growth called global warming, wouldn’t it want to know?
Eh, nope. Many of the tactics used against Elizondo were employed against ‘cranks’ that wanted to stop fossil fuels from the early seventies. Deny, distort, hit back hard with unlimited resources to demean and destroy truth tellers.
Logical fallacy, if you don’t know what something is, how can you dismiss it as no threat?
I’d cite here Luiz Eiizondo’s boss and the four-star general he most admired. Mad Dog Maddis, who had a close encounter of the orange kind. He patriotically described Trump as ‘a madman in a circular room screaming’ and warned he was a ‘threat to the United States.’
The American public thought differently. They re-elected the moron’s moron.
So here we have it. All that UFO stuff is true. Elizondo and others rebranded them as UAP to take the kookiness away and make it more palatable. Trump is even true, but totally unpalatable.
Rosewell, yep. A spacecraft did crash in 1947. Elizondo’s hypothesis is this was related to the development of the atomic bomb. Alien bodies were recovered. As they have been recovered many times before and since. Government agents, men in black, closed reports down very quickly. Death threats were made. A hostile environment of surveillance and discrediting of witnesses made sure those who raised their head above the parapet were quickly shot down (literally?)
Aliens have always been here. That’s another hypothesis. They’re in the Bible and other holy books if you know where to look. The Roman Catholic Church has a whole archive in their vaults in Rome.
Reverse engineering is a way of saying these corporations in the military-industrial complex are trying to use these alien materials to construct something similar. Rather like apes trying to reconstruct a nuclear submarine from one washed ashore.
Elizondo suggests mankind has become enough of a threat to not only need monitoring by those forces we don’t understand. That’s the imminent bit in the title.
There’s a similar hypothesis that mankind, when looking for alien civilisations in our back yard (our solar system) fail to see those civilisations that became so advanced they self-destructed.
‘1 percent doctrine, methodology, if there’s a one percent chance that an encounter is a threat to the military of American people, they must investigate it.
2023. Pentagon reporting over 300 UAP events since 2021.
There’s a sophisticated disinformation campaign targeting the US population, which is extremely unethical and immoral.
Think about it for a moment. Let it sink in. There are individuals who reported to Congress, who have direct knowledge of and worked with the Legacy Programme to capture and reverse-engineer vehicles (spaceships) that were made by nonhuman intelligence.’
I’m a believer now. UFOs or UAP are real. We’re unsure of their purpose. Or how long they’ve been on earth.
So what? You might ask. I’m not sure of the answer to that. I don’t see Luis Elizondo as some kind of patriotic superman. We’ve got enough of them to be going on with. Read on (or if you’re stuck for time, watch the documentary).
