latte
so here is a w*nky subject... but why does Latte taste so much better through those lids with the little holes?
(I haven't had a latte like that since giving up job in 'media', so was having a little nostalgia).
There's a caff in Prague that I use a lot, called Downtown, and it is staffed by beeeeautiful boys with impeccable - erm - pecs, and lovely - erm - jeans. The latte served there comes in enormous glass mugs that look more like vases, with a huge whirl of froth on top, and are a taste sensation. They come with tiny handmade chocolates and beat Starbucks jobbies sipped through a plastic lid hands down... and the view is miles better. That machine I mentioned on the other nostalgic thread, also makes excellent lattes. Mmm. I'll go make one now.
Can you make me one please?
(I think the reason I like the lids is because it reminds me of my Tommy Tippy baby mug my mother gave me instead of breasts).
hahahaha... yes, I'll make you one. And I like to snip the very bit of a corner of a carton of orange juice and drink it that way rather than pouring it into a mug, much for the same reason I suspect.
I like to cut the corner off of cartons and do that do.
It's so satisfying that way.
(I'm concerned that this innocent coffee related thread has been turned - by me - into some kind of Freudian nightmare.)
