New story and poem of the week

*SPOILER WARNING* SLowly And With Feeling had me agog. Loved it. Part of me feels that the bit after Sally gets her fanny out could do with tightening slightly, but I enjoyed the drawn-out tease of the narrator's decline. All the journalistic details and self-conscious editing worked really well, and I thought the Padre made a great, mordantly humorous mentor. (although it was 'Silas' Greenback - he wasn't a Baron) I'm officially jealous.
