Writers' Holiday in Cyprus

Now that we have got Christmas behind us people may be starting to think about this year's holidays. If you would like a peaceful break in a warm country with the company and support of fellow writers you would love the annual UKAway Writers' Holiday organised by the UKAuthors.com website but open to all. Last year we went to Methana on the coast of the Greek mainland and had a wonderful time, producing a chapbook of what we wrote, which you can download free here: http://stores.lulu.com/store.php?fAcctID=7281
The webpage about this year's event is here: http://davidgardiner.net/UKAway_2008.html
This is a very low key get-together of peers, not a course or a seminar, with a big spread of ability and experience but no gurus and no obligation to attend readings or discussions. Nothing is pre-planned, we'll decide how to use the time when we get there. If all you want is peace to write you can have that, but if you want support, feedback and discussion that is available too. Please visit the website and give it some thought. The dates in Cyprus are Saturday 29th March to Saturday 5th April, and there are still three places left (total, eight places).
I hope to see some of you in Cyprus but in any case, have a great 2008!
Best wishes from David Gardiner.
