CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!

Here at PDMI we are always thinking of others and for that reason exactly we are asking for submissions for the Purple Tall Tales anthology. The proceeds of this anthology go to the Cure Kiki Fund. More info can be found here:

The anthology is open genred so that means anything goes. Obviously pornography and the usual no-no's in literature apply (paedophilia, necrophilia, rape, molestation). That means we're axcepting Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Young Adult, Poetry (not prose), Contemporary Fiction and Romance. Sorry, no erotica. The target audience is mature, but if you wish to submit Child's Fiction, you can. We accept art and photography but please bare in mind this will be in black and white when it goes to publication.

Minimum word count is 500, maximum 10,000.

Have your name, address, genre and maximum word count at the top of the document.

This is a non paying, exposure only, publication.

Please only use italics for emphasis, no underlines. All submissions must be in Times New Roman Font and size 12. Please, if you divide your stories into chapters use page break not Return. Indent the first line of each new paragraph by 0.5 on the ruler. Use justify margin.

Submissions are open now until February 2013, or until the anthology is full. Only one submission per author please. No simultaneous submissions and exclusive publications only please.

Please be aware that PDMI hold the right to reject works submitted to them on the grounds of edits and content, so please make sure you thoroughly edit your work before submitting and do not submit prohibited material.

I thought a lot of people would be interested, if you can get a piece accepted it's free exposure.
The same thing used to happen to me when I dressed up as Princess Margaret (from the waist up), hid in the bushes and leaped in front of passers by brandishing my diamond studded cheese grater and muttering inanities about the atrocities of Fishwives, but now I always wear a gimp mask and hide my moped a short distance away to ensure a swift getaway.
