Kennedy Dead

Can you remember where you were when Kennedy died? I can: I was here and it was about an hour ago. Charles Kennedy the former leader of the Liberal Democrats and was one of us or rather one of me. He had a public alcoholic melt-down some years ago and had to resign as leader and never quite regained the public standing and affection across the UK. He was one of those rare politicians who when appearing on comedy quiz shows like Have I Got News For You, displayed a natural dry and self-deprecating wit. Most politicians who shall remain nameless like Nigel Farage, make me cringe with embarrassment when they try to 'get down wit' da kids,' they make my teeth blench!
