Glowing Embers
Just wanted to say I hope you all have a GREAT time tonight and to remind you that I expect A Full Report on the morrow...
(do try to behave in as seemly a fashion as you can muster, Fishcake)
Watch this space!
Fish you have been warned!!!
Feeling left out! She didn't pinch my @!#$!
Then again I didn't pinch hers either! How about you Ralph, I DID notice the proximity of your hand! And Martins!
And she asked me a question of a highly sexual nature!
Requests for details will be dealt with in private by email!
Or you can ask Andrea!!!
Are all mobile phones phallic sinballs Fishy, or just yours?
* shows both hands*
is innocent of all charges
'Ere, 'ang on, MIssus, ask me what?
You ain't told me anything yet!
As the great Max Bygraves once sang.
'You need hands'
We were all just very loved up thats all.
We were all together in one room, that does not happen very often.
If you want me to pinch your Bum Mississippi I will. It might remind you of those glory days in Marselle.
Mississippi has some excellent stories to tell and we should prise them out of him one way or another.
See you on the 15th mate.
ralph
I too await these reports, either via Andrea or straight from the Fish's mouth so to speak!
Yeah, have a good time everyone!
I saw them all so they can't deny it. They were there and I was taking notes. ivoryfishnetstockings, laugh dratford, mrs ippie, martintbonewalker, just thin thyme, hieronymous pip pip and the dolphin chorus. It were great.
Another successful even. I could go to things like this every week. Producing one every week, though, would be a lot of work.
The stage performers were all good, but Ivory gave the hit performance of the evening, just barely surpassing Nick the cabbie, which is not easy to do.
Met MartinT(again) and Ralph (again) and Mississippi (first time) and Ivory (first time), and Tess the editor (first time). We spent quite some time encouraging Mississippi to write more, even just record his conversations and write them verbatim. Encountered some resistance. Not sure we made much progress on that score. We'll be watching for submissions.
Since I left just before midnight and the graveyard shift was still on duty, I may not have as many interesting things to say as some other folks. So I'll leave it at this for now.
Yes - it was another oh god it's 3 o'clock in the morning night!
Still, good times had by all and, in my opinion, the finest collection of performers yet. I've had four emails already this morning from 'the audience' - many of whom are not writers but who feel inspired by the quality and depth of the talent on show.
Thankyou all, I trust the headaches are not too bad. My water was delicous.
...tony took me, fish and ralph to a disreputable drinking club for "after hours".....exellent.
but am paying for it now, got to bed at 3.30.....knackered and hungover....so please be quiet....
just back from the city ... awfully exciting for a small town girl i can tell you ... and no hangover ... *gloats* ...
had a fabulous time ... enjoyed the whole event tremendously .. it is a good night out ... performing was great fun ... i haven't done any for ages and it reminded me how much i like it ...
