Tarantino: C.S.I.
Wow! Just watched the recording of the double bill of C.S.I. written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, held over from last week. It goes to show what a top director can do. Best C.S.I. ever.
Haven't seen it, but I've never been impressed with Tarantino, personally. I think as a human being he's a big ole arse, and his movies are too violent for my taste.
Then again, he may be just what CSI needs...
CSI? 'Cramming the Soundbites In"
it's all macho hardball unrealistic nonsense.
"I just had to get out of there man"
"Hey, there's no room for a loose canon this team, get with the programme"
[later, over a bourbon in some flash nightclub]
"you really came through in there man"
"I'm sorry about that Ace, it's just this goddamn job....!" [throws glass against wall and chokes back the tears] " It's like getting paid in blood and I just took a raise!
"I don't understand you and my name's not Ace, it's Keith"
"sorry keith I'm just feeling Orville tonight"
LOL!
I would (almost) kill to be able to watch CSI here. In a real country, like Cambodia and Thailand, I was able to watch all three versions, plus movies and Alias and all kinds of stuff. Here, I get repeats of Big Strong Boys, Big Strong Girls, and Life Laundry.
Big Strong Boys, ha ha.
I used to be buddies with one of them.
Who'd have thought.
