Another balmy August evening at the Alley. Another barmy August evening at
the Alley. Depends on how you look at it. Last month, we had it all, from
hip-hoppers spitting lyrics to spacehoppers splitting whippets (sic) and the
fabulous Mark Gwynne Jones. This month promises to be just as exciting, and
our special guest is the fabulous Lizzie Mac.

A member of Oxford¹s Hammer & Tongue collective, Lizzie was rescued from the
abyss of abandonment by amazonian warriors and retrained in the art of
parenting by black widow spiders. She intends to militarize motherhood.
She¹s also a blooming good performer, so get down and see her.

Don¹t forget to sign up early if you want a floor spot. And do look forward
to the raffle, which is promising to be rather spiffing. Hope to see you
