well thanks for mentioning it Lou.
I felt it went well, everyone who listened thought it was funny although the first half was made up of the earlier takes and a couple of lines were better done in later takes.
Anyone who did hear it and has read the original will have noticed how much was cut out to make the time frame but that's the nature of the beast I guess.
Overall it was good enough but there has been no response on the websites/chatrooms about the programme so I doubt audience figures were very high.
The overall Winner was played first and it was the first time I heard it. I have to say I thought it was pretty poor and was more of a piece of prose rather than a play, still horses for courses eh? [urrrghhhh! these grapes are off, have you tasted them?]
Sorry to have missed it, Ely. Must be weird having your stuff edited without your knowing it though. Guess that happens as soon as it goes in to another medium. (A friend's just had her bitter sweet comedy edited down to an out and out tear jerker.) Anyway, congrats again.
p.s. Any sour grapes I come across - I just ferment them.
