I enjoyed this brilliantly told story of a chess game developing slowly
as at the same time, on a different level, a lost relationship with a sister is helped by joint memories, carefully retraced and relivened.

Though I wondered a bit about the title (rein?)

Littleditty, I am a fan of yours for sure.

Yutka you beat me to this. I was just coming to flag this piece of brilliance. I've not felt so relaxed in weeks. The peace she speaks of projects itself onto the reader - I feel as though I've been meditating. And I love the chess backdrop - it fits perfectly. I too am a fan, littleditty.
