Specific Agent advice needed - please help if you can

I have an offer from the Writers Literary Children's Agency to accept my manuscript for a childrens novel.

I should be bouncing off the ceiling but I'm unsure. So far it's all done by e-mail, (no personal contact) and the next step is the contract and me paying for a third party to critique my work $70-$90. (It's American).

Has anyone heard of this agency? Had any contact? KNow someone who has? Can you recommend it or have you heard horror stories?

PLease don't guess, I'm looking for people to help if the KNOW about it. I would MASSIVELY appreciate helpful feedback. Hopefully, job's a good'n!

Thanks for your help

Rob

Sorry to burst your balloon but a simple google search came up with these....and more... http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/570357/writers_literary_agency_... http://nielsenhayden.com/makinglight/archives/008839.html
Thanks, my internet is heavily filtered so can't always search for everything. I still can't access those short cuts but it doesn't bode well:(
You should not have to pay any money upfront. In future check any agents and publishers on Preditors and Editors - http://anotherealm.com/prededitors/ Get yourself a Writer and Artists Yearbook - all major bookshops sell them - and use the agents/publishers in there.

Thanks I've got the year book. I agree, no money up front is the way forward, just being a bit hopeful and wondering if anyone had specific knowledge of this company. Back to licking stamps then!
