Beautiful and imperfect you: Alp

I loved this poem. I wish someone had written it for me. I particularly liked :

"Another evening spent with tears, That can't wash away what is true." Great line.

Favourite TV meteorologist.

Look no further than Cannel Five's Lara Lewington. If she ain't ' trailer trash' beautiful then I'll just have to eat my cornpone. Mind you as newsreaders go I think the Asian-Irish guy Krishnan Guru Murphy on Channel 4 takes some beating.

Your portrait by mcmanaman

For me, he's a bit and miss - but this one is a great big hit:

but then again that's what ABCtales is for - trying stuff out and finding out what works and what doesn't.

Platonic - Soraia Almeida

This is really great. In particular:

"By overstepping the line,
By maybe trying to hold your hand, sometime, in the near future."

So well phrased.

a-typical love story by tanis

It isn't often that something comes to us so perfectly formed - but this is a delight:

Same old thing but told so well this time - and with what is, to me, an original twist. Hurrah!

what do you think you could do better than those who are already doing it?

... i frequently imagine i would be better at running a coffee shop or bar than those who are already running them ...

of course i wouldn't ... i am lazy and disorganised ... and i don't much like people (customers) ... so in fact would be lousy ...

what do you think you could do better?

Hello

*Waves at everyone*

Smell by patrick_allard

I lke this very much. It's a wonderful - and disgusting - idea:

sytlistically it just meanders at the beginning a bit too much - but then again, it does have a good pace and maybe it's just right. Thoughts?
