This one keeps you guessing all the way along. It's a lot shorter than some of his other stuff - and still very, very good. The ending I'm not so sure about - there's still some loose ends - but maybe that's good. I'd like to feel more for Edith - to know more about her - but your thoughts?

Long time since I last popped in, but I moved to Spain and had to wait 6 months to get online.
I am looking for help; I am making a piece of public art for a site in Bow, (London.) It is a traditional looking column with a statue on the top. Only the statue is fed up of standing and is kneeling down staring into the square. On the pillar I want to put 2 pieces of text; one a quote or equation pointing out the unlikelyness and miraculous nature of our existence.

What a good way of finding ideas for stories...

Many apologies for a recent spell of ABC downtime. The reasons are many and complex but it has meant that we've kicked a few things around to make the site quicker and better. Full search facilities are still limited (that's probably nonsense but you know what I mean) but we are re-building the capacity for searching so that it won't slow the site down.

It's better that it moves well and is easy to use!

Thought I'd just share some words from Stephen King on the definition of talent...

For the purposes of the beginning writer, talent may as well be defined as eventual success - publication and money. If you wrote something for which someone sent you a check, if you cashed the check and it didn't bounce, and if you then paid the light bill with the money, I consider you talented.
