Story and Poem of the Month

Our Story and Poem of the Month for December, very kindly chosen by Drew Gummerson:

Once again, an honour to be choosing the Picks of the Month.

First off, my choice for Story of the Month is Beanzie’s My Dinosaur Era. I really liked this one, Chapter 37, but they’re all good.

I remember reading chapter 1 a while ago and thinking it was pretty special, and it is, written in a unique style with captivating characters. Congratulations.

Special mentions also go to Turlough who continues to publish a load of work all of a very high standard.

In Hare’s Breath 1 - Van, the child’s voice is spot on.

Also of note is Sean McNulty’s Plenilune both absurd and honest. Loved it.

Poem

My choice for Poem of the Month is Vera Clark’s Variable. It is so simple and powerful. I don’t know how many times I’ve read it. I love it every time.

It being Winter I also want to give a shout out to these cold wonders.

Penny4athought’s Winter Constitutional

And Makis’s Dilute to Taste.

And, if we’re going to finish with a thought let it be for Ewan’s Big Picture. Wise words well said.
