Some years ago I had an operation where
some scin cancer was removed it turned out much worse than it should
have I ended up rather badly scarred.

 

My mother had been taking me for
follow-ups to the academic state hospital

 

in the meanwhile she passed on I had
been ther five times,

 

in the end during the botched routine
biopsy i was slaughtered (nit intentionally i must add). Got the
T-shirt. i consulted a private specialist at wich stage my family
offered to help out and I had the operation which was a sussess.

 

Butnow there are three more sores that
wont heal and one has started bleeding it is right next to the scar.

 

I do no not have medical since WITS
suspended all my privaliges (inclusing salary) in 2009 and nothing
has been re-instated.

 

Seeing as I have supported Abc so
loyally in the past and so many years, and seeing as Abc is a charity
organisation, I wonder if I could very humbly ask for Abc to support
me in this emergency, as a last resort a to help as a fundraiser, I
am very hesitant, I know the purse strings are tight. But hopefully
it is a special case. My fammilies appear to be more pre-occupied
with othe troubles.

Hi Tom. I'm so sorry to hear your news and that you no longer have private healthcare. Is there no public health provision at all in SA?

We are always so grateful for every donation to ABCtales. All contributions go towards maintaining the site and none of the editors take a salary.

As a registered Foundation Charity I don't think we'd be legally able to spend our funds on anything other than ABCtales. I am very sorry this isn't the answer you might wish for

I very much hope you find a solution which will help you make a swift recovery

I do understand Claudine, one cannot just lay your hands on other people's money even if you think it's right. Usually it is a good idea obey the country's laws.

Perhaps if you or someone could come up with an idea that might help with a fundraising? The previous operation was around R50 000 in all. There is dedicated state health care here but they are unable to cope at all no matter how heroicly they try it is a lost cause.

The situation is not urgent and not so serious at this stage. That said, appreciated and you may count on my continued support and regular submissions.

Have you talked to a doctor, Tom? I don't mean a hospital doctor, but a medic in your locality, we call them Generla practictioners. Rhiannon

appointmment

I have an appointment early next week – please no cause for alarm Rhiannon! My health in general is excellent.

 

These are much smaller sores hardly bigger than pimples I hope the dermatologist can just burn them off, just don't want to take chances. The little bit blood is worring though.
