A Dangerous Target

Laysa lives in a world where everyone has special powers, but some never even have theirs activated. During a life threatening incident, she is able to activate her powers. But her little brother, Scott, is kidnapped by an even stronger person.

She discovers that her little brother was being held hostage until their older brother completed a special task for the abductors. The older brother, Brian, was fighting in a war that he no longer wanted to continue. So his masters held Scott captive until Brian completed his mission. If he didn't, they would kill Scott. So Laysa decided to try helping Brian complete his mission so that they would release Scott.

Would Laysa survive long enough so that Scott would live? Will she even be able to complete the mission in time?
