Hilarious Nigerian Scammer Story by patmac

This is funny - and it's pretty well written. Turning the tables on the spammers and conmen is always a good idea. I'm not sure that the chain of events is entirely believable but, then again, I suppose it could be.

Hi TCook, Thanks for the fun review of my story. This type of behaviour is typical of the boys at www.419eater.com They really do behave exactly the way I've described it! (Check it out!) Pat My webpage is at: http://www.bookscape.co.uk
that did make me laugh...
hilarious! Great idea to make these scams into a story! (I get hundreds, never read them any more..) and superbly written! Thanks!

Hi, Guys, I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. I enjoy writing funny stories. So I hope I'll have more before long. My webpage is at: http://www.bookscape.co.uk

john rileyjohn rileyI read this story also, enjoyed it and found it very funny. Does it have to be believable? I remember being directed by the author to a site, where I was told to look under absurd. It's an absurd story; that often means unbelievable. In fictionn we make things up; it's our business to tell fantastic lies. What's believable or not is moot to me.

Hi, John I hear what you're saying about not mattering. Some care, some don't! The back and forth always happens, though. What some don't believe is realistic others do, etc. That happens all the time. Me, heh? I don't know! I guess with verisimilitude, heh? Well, it all depends! That said, however, having just spent as long as I can being equivocal! Here's a similar story to mine, done by the BBC! I don't know how much reality affects what they publish. Maybe not at all! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/3887493.stm My webpage is at: http://www.bookscape.co.uk
