'Hunter in a World of Farmers' by Alfie Shoyger

The latest release from Cerasus Poetry is 'Hunter in a World of Farmers' by Alfie Shoyger, a collection of 80 poems curated by our Editor in Chief: John Wilks.

Some of you may remember Alfie as a notable contributor of poetry to ABCtales, previously also known as Paul / Archie MacJoyce.

“Alfie Shoyger was born in 1980 to a working-class London family and with ADHD, a condition that some have suggested marks him out as a hunter in a world of farmers. Wandering from home in London to university in Norwich to squatted buildings in Bristol to teaching English
in Germany and Poland, he has in any case always remained a misfit. This is reflected in his poetry, which mostly eschews the free verse mode of his day to concentrate on rhymes, metres, wordplay and poetic structure.”

Available to buy now as a 160 page trade paperback from Amazon, priced at £8.99

Thank you Jack. We look forward to hear what you make of it, as a self confessed non-poet.

yeh, I'm not very good at poetry, unfortunaely, but I've also got a big nose. Something I've learned to live with.
