Hi, all very technical and I 'm a mechanical kind of guy , hope that makes sense: refrain, tercets, quatrains.... it's all mud to me. Going to study the link again and try. Appreciate you taking the time.
Tercet- three lines, quatrain - four lines. So a villanelle will have five stanzas of three lines each followed by a final stanza of four lines all of which follow the pattern on the link. Hope that helps. :)

I have a headache, just tell me where to shoot.
Why not copy the form of one of the examples?
Or just have a go and if it isn't quite right you can tweak it or call it 'in the style of a villanelle'...
Grrrrr....
