About this 'war' thing

I think, mykle, you should first ask yourself how these pics came into the public domain. Something I stumbled across today said that these soldiers have been under investigation for some time before the recent release of the photos. Given that the photos must have been taken by the perpertrators it must have been one of those under investigation who released them. Why would that be? Or were they daft enough to email them around and it was some third party who released them? Doubtful. These people were already subject to an enquiry. Hmmm.

Mykle, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I have no idea which parallel thread you said "Good Joke" in. I don't think I've read any other treads for at least five days. Some of the threads do appear interesting, at least by their titles, but I'm afraid I haven't time to catch up. I'm quite busy with other things right now and am only popping into this one occasionally because I'm interested in what changes overcome people under extremely stressfull situations. I'm interested in what we may all be capable of given different circumstances - different upbringin, different propaganda, different dangers, different "stresses" if you like.

yes Emma, or perhaps it is part of their defence strategy. Can't get away with accusing your superiors of forcing you into it in a courts martial. Bring it into the public domain and it is a new ball game, as americans say.

no, I said "if only some of you would read the news properly" which is entirely different to your post. But, like you, I try to consider the factors that lie behind the contraversial factoids. But then, that's the trouble for explorers ... always weeks/years behind with the news.
