I used to be able to search for work by favourite authors but that facility seems to have been discontinued. How come?

We couldn't have the full search engine for authors and the temporary full search bar as well - they conflicted! We'll bring back 'find an author' when we get the new search engine built. In the meantime just put in the name of your favourite author in the full search box and up will pop his/her home page.
