Scores

Take a look down at the bottom of the page. You'll see that there is a request to rate the story on a scale of one to five. When people do this the system averages out the scores (always rounding DOWN) and tells you at the TOP of the story page its average score and the number of readers who have rated it. Simple, eh? Not much use but quite simple.

Dear Luigi, it is about how often your search word has occurred in the piece. so, if you search for prat, stories containing the word prat more than once will score higher than those only having it in their title.
