My girlfriend bought me 'Black Belt Sudoku' for my birthday, & I thought, 'that'll pass a few minutes here and there'... I didn't expect'em to be so addictive!
I've got them on the pc - they are ridiculously addictive. Husband's doing them too. He keeps sneaking on to my pc and knocking my time scores off the hall of fame. Bastard. I'll get him back though. Next time he's nearing the end of a fiendish one in record time - I'm ringing his mother and passing him the phone. Yahahahhaha (wicked laugh).
I feared them - and would not go near as I thought it would lead to a lifetime addiction.
Whilst laid up this summer I got given a book of the darned things. Phew! They are a one trick pony. Once you have the method then it's a doddle. I'll stick to Freecell.
83% seems pretty constant these days - but I know it can improve. The trouble is those ones I do when I'm (a) pissed, (b) busy elsewhere and stop because I have get a train, go to a meeting or whatever. If I cut those cut then the average will get better!
Oh thanks a bunch. Had forgotten all about freecell. But I won't get hooked again, I thought. I haven't got freecell on this pc. Oh yes I bloody well have...
