Unbalanced Psycho

So, this is weird.
Sometimes I feel like writing poerty.

instead of a story.

Often, I feel like reading a story.

but I never want to read poetry.

why is that?

Sometimes I feel like drinking a beer. Sometimes I feel like drinking a scotch. I never once considered it weird. Try reading some poetry - some of it aint half bad.
Because a well written story flows, and it's easy to become caught in the plot. A good poem needs to be savoured, read slowly, and then re-read. Several times if needs be. Upshot: poems can be hard work, but you can get more from them. Lisa
I find that poems can be a bit hard to take sometimes. Personally, I am a fan of poetry, but many people don't like them because the can seem too philosophical at times. Hey, whatever floats your boat...
Stories can't be philosophical...? pe ps oid ... What is "The Art of Tea"? ... (www.pepsoid.wordpress.com)

It may be the 'hard work' aspect of it. don't know. I write and read for pleasure. I don't want it to be hard work. Expressions like 'layers of metaphore' put me off as well.
