A Sonnet

Can some kind soul teach me how to write one? Please?

I am no expert, but the best advice I can offer you about writing poetry is to buy Stephen Fry's book 'The Ode Less Travelled'.
good morning belle green. a sonnet is much like learning and playing chess, "easy to learn, difficult to master." `tis a process to learn the sonnet format, digest it, understand it and lay pen to paper. once pen to paper has been established: write, write, write! as `tis a discipline. if the passion to learn and express the sonnet is present, your own particular flavour of writing one will emerge in time and flow. i leave two links for you, belle green, as guidance to the worlds of the sonnet. i suggest you read them slowly, carefully perhaps even several times to fully undersand the sonnet concept before embarking upon one. every success. in sincerity, `t. imaan tretchicovmanicova http://www.ehow.com/how_3335_write-sonnet.html http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/writing-a-sonnet.html "there is naught so disobedient as an untrained mind."
Thank you both!
