Or, to be exact, New Year resolution. I read that it's wiser just to make one resolution.
Mine is to stay sober. I managed (yet again) a sober Christmas and I'd like to carry that through the New Year's Eve celebrations and into the new year. God I can't wait for normallity to return. No more bleeding gums no more coughing up blood no more fucking diabolical hang-overs. No more shaking so much I can't hold a cup of tea, butter a slice of bread - and worst of all - can't type. I see Alan Benefit has to stop as a necessity: is it that bad Alan? Anyway, Happy New Year one and all, Styx.

My New Year resolution is to stop beating around the bush and say what I think. I'm sick of having to handle people with kid gloves.

Hang in there, Styx; the way you describe it, why *would* you go back to doing it? Bleeding gums and coughing up blood? Jesus wept. My resolution is to find happiness and beauty amongst everyday situations; sounds glib, but easy, it ain't. At least, it hasn't been until very recently. Happy and safe New Year to you all.

Rhymes And Reasons

My resolution for the new year is to find work, and to put my writing on hold. Finding work will be my number one priority, and my writing will be put on the back-burner. That's the theory, anyway. Two-and-half hours to go, our time. Happy New Year to everyone.
