daron 316's publishing journey. - Introduction

Hello guys,

I am writing this as a sort of blog (and i'm supposed to know what a blog is?) as an insight into the world of publishing that i've just entered.
After writing my first novel three years ago and half-heartedly mailing off samples to agents and publishers, I've finally broken through and signed my first contract just over a month ago.

After being a member of ABC tales for a good few years now, I'd like to share this little trip to the bookshelves with you all and hear about your own experiences, that you can post underneath.

I also might be crying out for advice or opinions along the way!
I hope you all enjoy this blog as I list every stage of the publishing process from a complete novice's point of view!!
