Tentacles

Just seen "Pirates"! Brilliant! Absolute must-see! Depp is fantastic - his Jack Sparrow surpasses anything he has ever done... and Bill Nighy as Davy Jones... WOW!

Not to mention the fantastically animated Kraken and the pulsing, squirming crew of Jones' ship... yeuch!!! (in a good way)

Mr. Depp could imitate Mr Richards whilst wearing a tricorn in my bed any old time...that man is GORGE. I can't wait to see the film. The husband and I have been [pathetically] trying to do that clue game where you win the gas-guzzling monstrosity, but I reckon we've given up now. Too many underemployed people out there spending all day solving the clues. We'll never catch up.

Further to maddan's comment, as a long-time follower of Cthulhu, I was disappointed on finding the contents of this thread to be on Depp instead of Nyarlathotep. Off to see PC 2 tomorrow, for a dose of bad acting from Jeff Elfin and a 2D Tommy Cooper impersonation. I can't hardly wait!

I'm still trying to decide how I feel about Mr. Depp. He's so...odd. And he looks kinda funny, too. Is that his appeal? I'd drop trough for him, sure enough, but somehow I think he'd smirk and say, "Oy, pull 'em up, y'all." He is from Kentucky, after all. Mostly, if I were to fantasize about movie stars, I'd think he'd smell like apricots. Or is that weird? I don't care...I've got guests arriving in two hours and I burnt the sausage for the spaghetti. Ach.
