Anyone done either of these courses?

I’ve done a bit of research into the type of writing courses out there, as you might remember from my post last week that I am looking to brush up somewhat on my writing craft and build up some confidence following a bad review.

Anyway, I’ve searched quite a bit online narrowed it down to two in particular that I like the look of. Looking good on paper is all very well, though, and I just wondered whether anybody here has experience of either course and could recommend (or not as the case may be) one or the other to me.

One is the Writers Bureau Novel and Short Story Writing course.

The other is IPS (International Conference Schools) Short Story Writing course.

Leigh, if you are a UK resident or a UK citizen abroad, I can recommend the Open University creative writing diploma, it certainly helped me. You may think otherwise if you have read my writing. :-) I have heard that the Writers' Bureau courses have a good reputation. Ewan
