regional ABC shows MANCHESTER (provisional)
I am among those naive enought o have volunteered to help arrange an ABC supported evening of entertainment for the Manchester area in my case, (see details of how these work on the main ABC pages) This is likely to happen sometime in February 2002, possible venues to consider being The Green Room, and Cafe Pop, and I am keen to hear from poets willing to take part, help out, etc, as performers, or enthusiastic audience. This is unofficial as yet, but your involvement is appreciated. Best wishes, AC www.arthurchappell.clara.net/slams.htm (A site about performance poetry) arthurchappell@clara.net
am provisionally happy to perform ...
yeeeeeeeeeeeeees!!!!!!!!! Manchester 40 mins from me hurray!!
Can I come and be the one at the back drinking wine and taking loads of photos?
I would love to come to this event......
Finally, an event up North! Would love to be there if the tyrants at work let me out for ten minutes.
You're gonna need more than 10 mins by all accounts, Ja...
*winks at Fish*
I'll do it
All I need is somewhere to kip and a couple of Mars Bars.
Ralph
ooooooooooohyes ... MUCH more than 10 mins ...
and can i make a plea for a weekend event? ... midweek things are very nice and all ... but ... saturday night would be ideal ...
I can spare nearly half an hour at the weekend.
I agree with Fish, weekends are better all round.
Thanks to those showing an interest, will be looking at possible venues soon, and working with ABC folk on best format for everyone interested in being involved, - weekend event mmm not sure if that would work, though as findingplaces that would beaccesible for two days might be awkward, could be worth having more social activity lined up for day after poetry event itself though, those travelling in from out of Manchester let me know too, at least rough idea ofd distance and if need overnight accomodation, will look into options there too, thanks for such strong interest, AC arthurchappell@clara.net www.arthurchappell.clara.net/contents.htm
