Coral (Seashore)

It is with very great sadness that I have to announce the death of our very own Coral who wrote for ABCTales as Seashore

Coral was a Trustee of ABCTales, as well as a hugely supportive and generous friend to the site. She was a very talented artist and writer and a great advocate for her late daughter Julia who also wrote for ABCTales under the name Overthetop1.

All proceeds from sales go to the charities that Coral supported.

Coral passed away at home peacefully last night, surrounded by her family. She will be much missed by all of us.

So very sad to hear this news. Coral was such a friend to and generous supporter of ABC. We are lucky to have had the privilege of knowing both her and Julia's work.

Tears filled my eyes reading such sad news. Coral will be missed by many here at abc tales. I hope she's now with her daughter Julia.

I feel immensely privileged to have had both Coral and Julia as close friends, though several decades apart. Both were kind, clever, creative, talented and extremely funny women. There will always be a special place in my head and my heart for them. But my feelings tonight are of overwhelming sadness.

I am very sad at reading this news. I remember Coral's regular posts, she was part of the community here. I will be re-visiting her writing, also her daughter's writing and lighting a candle in the garden in her memory. Mother and daughter back together xx
