Music Quiz
Just got this from an old mate of mine who now lives in Australia. It's only a bit of fun and the closing date has well gone but ho hum. Just thought we could try it. Old hippies only need apply!
My apologies to those of you who are not keen on my music quizzes (or maybe the way I mark the score). But I am encouraged by the Muslims next door, who won’t give up. I am not giving up. You can always not answer (or not even read it). My apologies also to the 2 earlier winners who are still waiting for their prizes. Just my luck that both of you are in England. Come on Aussie.
And for the few hardy souls out there who have actually visited me in Southport (especially you Tom, all the way from England), some sad news. The ancient & dilapidated tank-like old bomb with the cracked dashboard, no door handles and multi-coloured paintwork is no more. Gone off to the great gas guzzlers in the sky. Well not quite actually. Replaced by a gleaming white VT Commodore with all mod cons that imitates excrement leaving a mechanical contrivance for shovelling.
There is a bonus prize of a quart of Stella Artois for anyone who can tell me why the Muslims next door chant the “bonnie Earl O’ Moray” while praying. “They must be Scottish Muslims” is not a sufficient explanation.
And for those of you whose health resembles that of the former old bomb, shape up.
To business.
