Great news!
Ok, we've made it! You can all cough up (please?) and pre-order your multiple copies of 'VOICES FROM THE WEB', which, as I never tire of mentioning, contains more than 80 prose and poetry pieces from more than 40 UKA members. There are plenty of ABC'ers in it too, although I won't mention any names, 'cos I always get told off for fogetting someone :-)
Anyway, it's a whopper at 8.5" x 5.5" and more than 400 pages, so well worth the £9.99 (plus p&p) that you have to fork out.
You can inspect the cover and all latest info at www.ukauthors.com and order copies Here:
Can you lend it to Storms?
And if youve got a bulletproof jacket, I'll have a lend of it please?
Stylish? Moi? I say, JT, that's a bit OTT, innit?
Ageing hippie more like :-)
Congratulations, Andrea. I soppose it's too late to get my one poem in there, even if I pay double? *grin*
I can't stop waching this. It's appalling, isn't it?
If you keep pressing the on button over and over it gets better.
Oh, good!
*hurries off to uka*
Well done.
Thanks guys :-) It was an awful lot of work and, I have to admit, somewhat stressful at times.
Well, considering the proofs are all made up, Brit...um...no. Never fear, though, you could well be in the 2004 Anthology :-)
Oh god... that is one of the worst things i have ever seen ...
Worse than watching Tottenham Hotspurs
...and there's even more great news....a brand new picture of Andrea is available for view on my web site...so the curious folks (so to say) can go to www.thymeworks.com, click 'begin your journey here' at the top, then click 'abc tales rogues gallery' in the drop down menu. The new pic is the last one in the scrolling list.
Very stylish, I must say!
"The Modern Author At Home"
Mark and Liana, you are right. I watched it over and over. mrs stormy came to investigate wondering what could possibly be so amusing. so I showed her...several times.
I haven't seen her cry like that since last year's year 6 leavers assembly.
(and that was really bad)
I watched with fascination a couple of times thinking more would follow. Now I realise that was it. My life feels empty.
i made a child watch it and even the child (who will watch anything) said "it's rubbish"
Liana? sorry, I'm going mad, meant trudi. I was sending an email to Liana just before I posted and had her on my mind.
I'm getting old.
*walks past with ladder*
