Synopsis

Hi everyone! I'm sure this has been raised before, but I thought I'd ask you all for a bit of advice anew about writing one of these. I've come to the conclusion that a synopsis is one of the hardest things to do, but perhaps I'm not going about writing one the right way. Any suggestions? Thanks folks!

You should model your synopsis after the summaries you see on the back of book covers. The purpose of a synopsis is to entice the reader into reading more. Some agents ask for them to see if just so they can ensure that your novel doesn't go off in some crazy direction. [%sig%]
