Kylie
I was shocked to hear that Kylie has breast cancer – it indeed goes to show that anything can happen to us, no matter who we are.
I enjoyed Kylie’s lively and very professional show when I went to see it earlier this month – but feel more fortunate now that I did get to see it.
I hope that Kylie ‘does an Anastacia’ and overcomes the cancer.
makes you realise how sad it is for people who have to go through it all alone without the thousands of well wishers and almost instant treatment. She should thank her lucky stars that she's in such a priveledged situation.
good god. Has this site become fucking boring just recently or I am just in a stinky mood?
My thoughts exactly, Maxwell.
No need for alarm, Rachel – as if I’d think that being a celeb stops anything happening to the person – if that were the case, John Lennon wouldn’t have got shot in the head, Sonny Bono wouldn’t have smashed his head in while skiing…
alot of the time celebrity status actually saves alot of people from the gutter. I couldnt imagine (geddit) what lennon would have amounted to if he'd not got that german bird to cut his hair and had brian epstein chasing his poo pipe. Look at the likes of these young black rappers who've used all that dirty money to get themselves up and going as artists. I'd rather see them spend it like that than throw back into drugs and ho's.
Unfortunately, Maxwell, they still do. They can just buy more of them.
Is it possible to get cancer in your silicone?
Perhaps it caused it, Missi. You won't catch me putting bags of silicone in my, er, bags of mammary tissue...
*shuffles uncomfortably*
I heard someone on the radio say that even blokes can get 'breast' cancer (i.e. if it becomes cancerous around their ‘breast bone area’, so to speak).
(That must be a pain in the tits when they haven’t even got any…!)
kylie hasn't got implants George. she's 'all downstairs' whe it comes to assets.
She always struck me as a nice enough person and I hope she recovers fully... maybe this will allow her to step from the limelight and enjoy herself a bit now.
"maybe this will allow her to step from the limelight and enjoy herself a bit now."
True but a bit extreme surely? most celebs would settle for a private holiday to an undisclosed location.
I figured the desire to be a celeb automatically negates having a private anything.
I do wish her well though.
Alp's first post seems to imply it also stops bad things happening to you, which I find slightly alarming. The sad thing is, this is very good for breast cancer awareness and especially for "early" sufferers e.g. women in 20s, 30s, 40s. Kylie takes on that responsibility whether she likes it or not and I hope it won't be to the detriment of her own health or sanity.
