Ok, taking on board the discussions re saying something a little more helpful than, yes liked this one...
I enjoyed this piece, particularly the miserable Anne character. Was just wondering, is there a way you could introduce the girl that Anne hits, earlier? I feel that, as it stands, the coincidence at the end seems a little too contrived to work. Maybe we could already know she's at the checkout from the outset. Hope this helps.

[Oh and is there any way that writers could be alerted to the fact that their stuff has been flagged? I know some of those who don't frequent the forums that often have sometimes missed comments.]

i agree the character of Ann is well observed, but i got confused about who recieved the peanuts at the end, was it the one at the beginning or someone different? It is a really enjoyable story, and with some tweaking will be even better. Juliet

I agree with Juliet OC's comments; I was a little confused by the names/identities of the other people, although the observations about certain types of people were spot-on; my husband refuses to shop in Tesco because of them! A little tweaking, v. good story.
thanks gals/guys - yes thats very helpful. thanks. Actually i was at tesco's today, but the shop i was in the day i wrote this was actually.......Somerfield, tell your husband they get everywhere....lol actually gang i write these rather weird from life observations about five minutes in advance of posting them on here.. a kinda decision to write something .. and its entirely unedited, so its bound to be rough. so sorry for that, but still glad you enjoyed the story... :)

maisie angel Guess what?  I'm still alive!

I think the observation is a good thing and sometimes can lead to some terrific stories. Actually, I rather liked the ambiguity, I could use my own imagination to read the story as I liked. BTW I've edited mine for you. Lisa.
