And now, for something totally different.

Life isn't always serious...I put together a little photo show of our recent Colorado Renaissance Festival...click below to visit.

This is an annual event, 30 years running. It's a strange hybrid of Shakespeare Festival, Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show and Three-Ring circus. I have a few (actor) friends that work this event every year

the world needs more pirates riding elephants I think

Absolutely! :-) ~PEPS~ “You do not truly know someone until you fight them.”

More presidents and prime-ministers riding elephants for sure :O)
A Wild West Rodeo! Now that's the way to solve the world's problems... ~PEPS~ “You do not truly know someone until you fight them.”

BTW, I could be pedantic and say it should be... And now for something completely different ...but I won't. ~PEPS~ “You do not truly know someone until you fight them.”

You could be pedantic, but you'd be wrong. What Denver has said may be different, but it isn't bad English, unless of course you're pepsoid.

Yeah, but "completely" different would not be accurate. I've only used about 1/4th of the photos I took. Visit me http://www.radiodenver.org/

Well... oka-a--ay!! (I was referring to the Monty Python phrase, BTW... I wouldn't be so pedantic as to pick someone up on bad grammar...!) ~PEPS~ “You do not truly know someone until you fight them.”

I love to see Yanks do 'olde worlde'. It's so funny! They've got llamas in there along with Shakespearean dress and fire-eaters. Great photos, by the way. RD - it was dirty, scrofulous and horrible in those days - give those people some diseases, make them smash up their teeth and get them to smell, to reek, to stink to high heaven - and then we'll get a few steps closer to authenticity (and lose the llamas!)
Do you know why they won't allow pirates riding elephants on the beach? Because they walk around with their trunks down and he will eventually bury it in the sand. Oh, while I was there...the pirate ear-piercing shop was having a special. They would only charge you a buck-an-ear. For some reason, it was very cool that day.
